Here is exclusive access to the draft of my mixtape “Tough Draft”. I am inviting you into my martial rap journey of practicing ideas and freestyles and developing some of my favorite sounds and rhyme schemes at this time. Expect the repetition of certain stylistic sounds- but though similar, it’s always special and altered and intentional.

In Martial Arts, you learn a sequence of techniques with all types of applications (and fighting wisdom) in one form- and in the next one you might see the same technique sequence with new applications or elaborations. You’ll find that same kind of principle in a lot of these tracks that I put out from “tough draft” -for y’all (both on this tape and publicly).

This is a lyrically heavy project filled with wordplay, metaphors, and vocabulary words that you tried to avoid all your life. Think about the craft and the personal stories and interludes.

I think some of the spiritual content throughout (especially in some of the interludes as well) has the potential to be truly transformative- as it was in my life. I suggest that you listen to it from top to bottom for insight.

And again, don’t be surprised when I use similar words and sounds or patterns in certain sections, that’s me trying to master something and using it in different manners till it lands on an official track.
